Nexus Studios has announced the signing of director and collage artist Alice Isaac to its roster for commercial representation. Known for her approach that captures the tension between analogue craft and modern aesthetics, Alice consistently redefines what we can expect from collage – offering a cleaner, more refined and premium take on the medium.

From fashion and SFX make-up artistry to animation production, Alice’s non-traditional journey into the industry seeps into her directorial work today. The bold style that this birthed has caught the attention of brands including Nike, Adidas, Converse, Hulu, BBC, Netflix, The FA, Prada and Spotify.

While grounded in traditional, tactile collage, Alice has made her mark within a digital context. As a self-taught animator, she brings a sense of freedom and experimentation to her work, fusing mediums in unexpected ways. The result is new styles that quickly become genre-defining – notably with her 3D animated collages for the Mercury Prize.

Alice’s unique expertise and vision finds a perfect home at Nexus Studios that’s known for championing commitment to craft and innovative storytelling.

I’m beyond excited to be joining Nexus Studios as a director, they have been a total North Star for progressive creativity in the world of animation and it is an honour to now be a part of that.

We’re excited to welcome Alice Isaac to the Nexus Studios roster. Her work embodies a fearless approach to image-making and motion, blending the tactile and the digital with a distinctive sense of play and precision. We look forward to the surprising and original perspectives she’ll bring.
